The Fendi Kan I l bag launched in the Runway 2017 collection. If our speculations are right, we think this bag might just be the new Fendi “it” bag. Fendi’s past “it” bags have included the Peekaboo and the Baguette bag. The Kan I brings a breath of fresh air into the current Fendi collection because of its sleek silhouette and fun styles.

The Kan I is a rectangular, boxy flap bag with a jewel fastening stud closure in the center. Its shape and look evokes a mix between the Chanel Boy Bag & the Hermes Constance Bag …somewhere in between but with an edgy twist. The Kan I features a long sliding chain shoulder strap, which allows for crossbody wear. There is a metal ring attached to the strap and you can personalize the bag by adding your favorite bag charm or accessory. Better yet, the Kan I can also be worn with the Fendi Strap You if you want the bag to be even more expressive.

The collection is filled with innovative-styles adorned with candy colored studs and feminine floral prints that highlight Fendi’s whimsical craftsmanship. Many of the prints are inspired by the extravagance of Versailles as seen by all the embellishments, flowers, and embroidery in the collection.

For those of you curious about all the technical details, the Kan I comes in two sizes- mini and medium. The release date for the Kan I is expected between February and March, and some styles can be seen in store already. Prices range from $3,000 to $6,000 depending on size and style.
