Hermes from Exotic India

One of my favorite shopping stops in New Delhi is the Hermes boutique at the Oberoi Hotel. If there is an Hermes in any city of the world that I am visiting – PurseBop is there! I was curious to see the selection of orange boxed goodies (one just never knows what the Hermes Gods may have lined up for you!) After all, Mr. Pursebop did get lucky at the Montreal Hermes boutique with my Birthday Birkin.

The Hermes associates were exceptionally warm and inviting. Suffice to say, the service was incredible! I felt right at home as we perused the treasures in search for my perfect souvenir. My obsession with the CDC (Collier de Chien) bracelets led us to the cabinet filled with shiny and shimmery treasures. I preferered an exotic, and only a lively and bright colored one would do…

My heart skipped a beat when my SA unveiled a violet exotic GHW- it was game over!

The setting for my reveal photography had to be in its home country. I started shooting at the vegetable gardens in my Ayurvedic yoga retreat in India. Each day the meals were prepared from organic vegetables grown on the beautiful estates grounds. Every morning, I would walk by the cart that would carry the days fresh pickings. Vegetables were plucked at the first break of dawn to maximize the prana (energy). Barrels of aloe vera were readily available each morning at the spa and used to create skin masks, wraps & treatment packs.

This visit was also the perfect opportunity to see how Hermes accessory prices were affected in Asia first hand. If you recall, we extensively covered the news of Hermes reducing prices for accessories to adjust to the devaluing Euro. Lets focus on arm candy:

Naturally once I got home, I was curious to see how Hermes Anemone compared to the Violet. While they may be the same color, the duo couldn’t be more unique and fitting in their own ways.
