Hermès returned to Paris to present its Men’s Summer 2025 collection. Unveiled on Saturday, June 22, 2024, menswear designer Véronique Nichanian brought her signature minimalist tailoring and a meticulously curated color palette to Paris, primed for the breezy summer season ahead. Next year, that is.
The collection was a masterclass in understated elegance and layering, showcasing Hermès’ commitment to impeccable craftsmanship and timeless sophistication. Every piece was functional yet stylish, working harmoniously to create the ultimate summer capsule collection.
Nichanian skillfully integrated a variety of prints, including painterly motifs alongside equestrian-inspired and geometric designs. Shades of ice blue akin to Bleu Pale and subtle lilac made a notable appearance, signaling their trend status while complementing hues of deep navy, gray, chocolate brown, pops of pink, khaki, and crisp white.
The Summer 2025 Bag Collection
The Men’s Summer 2025 collection introduces a refined array of bags, placing a significant emphasis on larger tote styles, a departure from the compact crossbodies and clutches seen in the Winter 2024 collection. Emphasizing a shift towards seasonally appropriate options, the collection also showcases toile and canvas designs alongside leather offerings.
Among the highlights, the HAC appears in toile iterations, complemented by the Fouree-Tout Étrivère, which debuted in both the Men’s and Women’s Fall 2024 collections. New additions include a design reminiscent of the HAC silhouette, infused with a refined “quiet luxury” aesthetic. Additionally, a casual printed tote with leather strap detailing offers a more pared-back option.
Let’s take a closer look at the bags. . .
HAC
Leading the runway, one of Hermès’ standout men’s offerings, the HAC asserted its presence. Crafted in a combination of toile and leather, the bag was presented in natural tones and a deep blue hue reminiscent of indigo denim.
Additionally, a classic all-leather version appeared in a luxurious Cognac brown.
Fouree-Tout Étrivère
First introduced during the Men’s Winter 2024 collection, the Fouree-Tout Étrivère has maintained its prominence, most recently featured in the Second Chapter of the Women’s Fall-Winter 2024 runway in New York.

Returning this season with a refreshed look for summer, the Fouree-Tout Étrivère combines toile and leather in a new interpretation. Its generously proportioned body features natural-colored toile, complemented by a structured top crafted from supple leather, showcased in both Gold and Black options.
The Fouree-Tout Étrivère also appeared in the classic all-leather construction in a deep chocolate brown shade.
The All-New Leather Tote
Hermès unveils its latest leather offering for Summer 2025 with a spacious hand-held tote. Inspired by the HAC but infused with a minimalist twist, this design forgoes the signature hardware-heavy turn-lock closure. Instead, it features Pontet hardware in its flap-over design, as seen on the HAC, Birkin, and Kelly bags, albeit without the functional Sangles.
The tote boasts a structured base and a supple leather upper that gives it a relaxed slouch. Enhanced by oversized top handles, the bag debuted in two sizes on the runway – an everyday tote style and a larger holdall version. Presented in timeless neutrals such as chocolate brown, Gold, and a shade akin to Etain, this new tote epitomizes Hermès’ minimalist aesthetic for the season.
Bandana Printed Tote
For a minimalist summertime choice, there’s the new fabric tote. Featuring bandana-inspired prints, these easygoing totes were presented in Khaki and Navy. This soft fabric construction lends them a casual slouch, while the contrasting leather handles offer a touch of refinement. The handles are finished with buckle details and appear to be adjustable.
Garden Party
The Garden Party lineup expands once more with a new deep indigo blue toile variation, trimmed with black leather. Styled on the runway with its expandable sides secured by its press-stud fastenings for a more streamlined aesthetic.
The Artistic Accessory
Painterly vibes continued into the accessories. Is it a bag, or is it an artist’s drawing tube? Either way, it’s a new addition to Hermès’ ever-expanding accessory lineup. This leather tube, certainly niche, was casually styled on the shoulder of a model, with its adjustable leather shoulder strap. Crafted in deep chocolate brown leather with palladium hardware, the accessory opens with a zipper fastening. What lies inside remains another mystery. . .
