Presented on a wintry day in the French capital, Hermès unveiled its Men’s Winter 2025 collection. With longtime artistic director Véronique Nichanian continuing to define the house’s vision for menswear, the collection showcased her signature approach to refined tailoring and luxurious craftsmanship.

In keeping with the winter season, outerwear took center stage, in chic leather and shearling silhouettes – an unmistakable signature of Hermès. When it comes to colors – the collection featured a muted palette of gray, beige, and other neutral tones, complemented by unexpected pops of cherry red, teal, and lime green. Geometric print influences were notably present in the knitwear, adding a contemporary touch to the classic silhouettes.

The Men’s Winter 2025 Bag Collection
While the focus of the Men’s Winter 2025 collection was on outerwear and tailoring, the bags that did appear made a strong statement. Larger tote styles prevailed, with the iconic HAC silhouette taking center stage, reimagined with several design iterations. The Fouree-Tout Étrivère made a brief return, alongside non-leather options like a heavy wool tote and a printed toile Garden Party.

HAC
Leading the pack, the Hermès HAC dominated the Men’s Winter 2025 runway. Showcased in various options, from the classic to contemporary iterations.
Hermès HAC Men’s Winter 2025 Collection
First to hit the runway was a fresh update of the 1892 HAC design. Drawing inspiration from the coveted Shadow Birkin, this version of the HAC was stripped of the signature details that define the original. With a sleek, streamlined silhouette, it forgoes the flap, sangles, and signature hardware. Instead, a subtle embossed pattern mimics the shape of the flap and sangles, complemented by a white overlay and tiny numbers marking each point, creating the effect of a “connect the dots” design. The only visible hardware is the feet, protecting the base of these generously sized bags.
This style was presented in both black and deep brown heritage box calf leather.

Another take on the classic HAC, this version draws inspiration from the HAC Cargo but is crafted entirely in black leather. It features two structured patch pockets on the body of the front – one large and one small, both secured with minimalist buckle fastenings. This design offers a more polished interpretation of the original’s utilitarian vibe.

Classic HAC styles were presented too – with the iconic gold-on-gold combination present, as well as black with palladium hardware.

New Perforated Tote
For Winter 2025, Hermès introduces a more minimalist approach to the tote lineup, in contrast to the bandana-printed tote seen in the Summer 2025 collection. Crafted from what appears to be a thick wool felt, the bag has long leather shoulder straps that accommodate shoulder wear, and a leather base. The front of the tote features a symmetrical perforated design meant to be on display, unlike the well-known perforated “H” of the Evelyne.
This new style made two appearances, in a deep gray shade and a dark brown, both accented with black leather.

Fouree-Tout Étrivère
Back in the Hermès Men’s grouping is the Fouree-Tout Étrivère. First introduced in the Men’s Winter 2024 collection, the north-south design was included in the Second Chapter of the Women’s Fall-Winter 2024 runway in New York.

This spacious holdall is defined by its clean lines and distinctive panel detailing. Equipped with an adjustable shoulder strap for both crossbody and shoulder wear, the Fouree-Tout Étrivère was styled hand-held on the runway. On the Winter 2025 runway, it appeared once in a rich chocolate brown shade with palladium hardware, reminiscent of the design seen on the Men’s Summer 2025 runway.

Garden Party Voyage
Now standard in Hermès’ men’s collections, the Garden Party Voyage received another subtle yet striking geometric makeover. Presented in a canvas with a muted print of yellow, brown, teal, and navy blue geometric patterns, this spacious bag is complemented by a black leather base and handles.

Kelly Dépêches 25 Pouch
While large hand-held totes stole the spotlight on the Hermès Winter 2025 runway, two mini-clutch styles also made an appearance. First up, was a return of the the Kelly Dépêches 25 Pouch. This chic clutch-turned-wristlet was showcased in heritage box calf leather in a deep brown shade paired with palladium hardware.

New Pouch
Alongside the classic Kelly Dépêches 25 Pouch was a new design, crafted from glossy black calfskin. This minimalist piece features a long shoulder strap, which was tucked in on the runway. A sleek, minimalist “H” clasp — distinct from the classic fastenings seen on the Birkin and Kelly— adds a refined touch that exudes quiet luxury.
