Under Jonathan Anderson’s direction, Loewe continues to redefine menswear with a blend of minimalism and innovation. Titled ‘A Radical Act of Restraint,’ the Spring 2025 collection not only explored conceptual depths but also embraced a minimalist aesthetic that resonated throughout the vast, seemingly empty runway venue. After all, sending out shirtless models may seem a curious way to market clothing.
For bags, the designs ranged from minimalist to maximalist. Returning favorites such as the Pebble Bucket bag, Flamenco Purse, and the reimagined Puzzle bag were mixed with fresh interpretations of classic tote bags. Texture played a pivotal role, with exotic leathers including ostrich and snakeskin, alongside subtly glossy finishes and luxurious suede.
Pebble Bucket
Loewe’s Pebble bag has been a hit since its debut in the Spring/Summer 2024 collection. Its hallmark twisted construction and minimalist silhouette are complemented by a wide shoulder strap adorned with hardware engraved with the iconic Anagram logo.
On the runway, the Pebble bag was styled with its shoulder strap extended, showcasing supple khaki suede and a glossy chocolate brown leather iteration.

Relaxed Puzzle Bag
Originally introduced in 2015, the origami-inspired ‘it’ bag has garnered acclaim for its geometric lines and versatile everyday appeal. For Spring 2025, Jonathan Anderson reimagines the Puzzle with a softer, more pliable approach. This updated design, larger than its classic counterpart, was handheld on the runway to accentuate its supple construction.
Retaining all the signature elements of the original Puzzle – such as its origami-inspired folds, zippered pocket, top handle, and adjustable shoulder strap – the new rendition was presented in luxurious ostrich leather and exceptionally soft, subtly grained leather.
The All-New Tote
Following the success of the Puzzle Fold tote, Loewe introduces a sleek new addition to its extensive lineup. Characterized by an exceptionally slim profile, this minimalist tote features elongated shoulder straps joined by a leather tube for effortless and comfortable carrying. With discreet branding limited to simple rivet detailing and a small ‘Loewe’ heat stamp, the design definitely falls within the quiet luxury category.
The new tote debuted in a variety of colors and textures, including grained chocolate brown and teal leather, as well as luxurious ostrich in black, khaki, brown, and supple cognac suede.
Flamenco Purse
One of the brand’s enduring styles, the Flamenco debuted in the 1970s and was reintroduced to the lineup in 2010. Since then, its legacy has only grown, with each iteration marking a new statement. For Spring 2025, Loewe expands its Flamenco line of exotic leathers, following the success of its Fall 2024 runway releases, with a snakeskin high-shine metallic gold finish.

Mirror Clutch
The smallest bag of the lineup was the glossy metallic clutch. Sculptural in design, this clutch was showcased in both gold and silver, each with a high-shine mirror-like finish. Designed with a slim profile and curved edges, the bag features a discrete ‘Loewe’ logo on the front.
