Cartier has just expanded their beloved Juste un Clou (JUC) collection with the addition of eight new pieces!
The Juste un Clou bracelet was designed in 1971 in New York by Aldo Cipullo. Taking inspiration from his own androgynous style and love for nuts, bolts, and screws, the italian designer created the nail-inspired bracelet to reflect the industrialism and boldness of 1970’s New York. More than 50 years later, the JUC collection remains one of Cartier’s most popular ranges.
Translating to ‘just a nail,’ the Juste un Clou collection maintains a more modern, edgy design in comparison to the Love collection. The simple closure mechanisms of the JUC pieces also make them much easier to take on and off, increasing the appeal for those who like to swap out their jewelry on a regular basis. Cartier commemorated the brand’s 165th anniversary in 2012 with the addition of new JUC rings and bracelets, and these pieces were met with such success that they were followed by another expansion of earrings, cufflinks, and necklaces in 2017.
This fall, Cartier added eight new pieces to the Juste un Clou Collection: two slim bracelets in white gold (with and without diamonds), three slim rings with diamonds in rose, yellow, and white gold, and three XL necklaces in rose, yellow, and white gold.
The slim JUC bracelet in white gold with diamonds retails for $5,400.
The slim JUC ring in rose gold and yellow gold with diamonds retails for $2,780.
The XL JUC necklace in rose and yellow gold retails for $17,800 and $19,000 in white gold.
Which of these new Juste un Clou pieces are you most excited for?
