While in NYC, I did a little hands on investigative work into the J’ADOIR collection to be able to share all the details and information with you. I lay out the three styles available in the J’ADIOR collection with modeling pictures of the ways each can be worn.
The collection consists of a shoulder flap with chain, clutch and a wallet on a chain and are available in black, red and a creamy white calfskin. The metal fittings are a brassy gold with a bold, rugged feel. I would describe the hardware as matte versus polished or shiny.
Modeling Comparison
Shoulder Bag
The shoulder version has a hearty chain strap that can be worn single or doubled. Cross body is not an option.
The shoulder flap version can also be handheld like a clutch. It has a comfortable grip and feels very solid in the hand.
The flap lifts exposing the interior and pockets.
Wallet on Chain
The WOC has a much thiner strap. Very similar to the weight of the Chanel WOC chain.
The WOC can be handheld as a clutch also and the chains can be tucked in for a different look.
Clutch
The clutch has a much heavier wider strap that allows you to carry it as a short top handle bag or as a clutch. Of the three styles, I would describe this most as ‘rocker chic’.
