Pharrell & NIGO’s Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2025 Collection: A Masterclass in Luxury Streetwear
Closing out the first day of Paris Fashion Week, Pharrell Williams unveiled his Fall-Winter 2025 Men’s Ready-to-Wear Collection, in collaboration with Tokyo-based designer and artistic director of Kenzo, NIGO. The collaboration, long speculated, was confirmed when Louis Vuitton released a teaser on social media ahead of the show, creating anticipation for the much-awaited reveal.
Presented at the Cour Carrée du Louvre in Paris on January 21, 2025, the collection brought together Pharrell’s distinct ultra-luxe Louis Vuitton vision with NIGO’s streetwear sensibility.
This collection also marked NIGO’s return to Louis Vuitton, having previously worked with the late Virgil Abloh on two collections in 2020 and 2022. These collaborations were pivotal moments in luxury fashion’s embrace of streetwear, and items from those collections remain highly sought after by collectors and fashion enthusiasts today.
Pharrell and NIGO’s partnership goes way back to when they co-founded the streetwear labels Billionaires Boys Club and Icecream in 2003. Over the years, both have played pivotal roles in pushing streetwear into the spotlight of high fashion – redefining the boundaries between luxury and street culture. And now, in Paris, they are once again doing just that, bringing their unique vision to Louis Vuitton – with the collection entitled ‘Remember the Future.’
Showtime
Held at the Cour Carrée du Louvre, Louis Vuitton made the site its own. At the center of the courtyard stood a striking, rectangular structure with sharp, clean edges, clad in Louis Vuitton’s signature Damier pattern. Though Damier didn’t dominate the collection, its presence on the building added a bold, graphic touch, while the mirrored facade reflected the historic surroundings in a dramatic juxtaposition to the architecture.
Inside the structure, a full orchestra accompanied the show, along a stark pale pink Damier runway that gave off a minimalist, almost dystopian feel. Models emerged into the contemporary space, showcasing a dynamic range of looks — from classical tailoring in tweeds to ultra-luxe streetwear in leather and suede. The collection blended NIGO’s archive of 20th-century workwear with Pharrell’s expressive style. Together they brought their unique vision to Louis Vuitton, further redefining the lines between street culture and luxury fashion. As described by Louis Vuitton:
“A spherical arrangement of 24 Monogram Flower-adorned vitrines orbits the Cour Carée du Louvre, showcasing archival pieces from Louis Vuitton, Pharrell, and NIGO in a creative convergence of heritage and future creativity.”
As expected, bags were a central focus, with nearly every model carrying a unique piece. Unlike previous shows, the majority of bags, even those with straps, were held by hand. Among the highlights were fresh takes on the Speedy P9, Shopper Tote, reimagined archival styles like the Steamer, and statement trunks.
Other playful details added a distinctive edge, defining the Pharrell and NIGO collaboration. Graphic profile silhouettes of the duo, along with NIGO’s iconic drippy wave motif, and a range of bag charms bring character and creativity to the collection. And then there are lobsters – as embellishments and bag charms – reportedly a reference to a fishing trip where the two designers unexpectedly caught a lobster.
With an abundance of bags hitting the runway, we’ve rounded up our top picks.
Pharrell x NIGO
There’s no missing that Pharrell and NIGO are together on the latest collection, as many bags feature images of the duo. First, the Damier Ebene pattern is reimagined with white cartoon-like profiles of the duo, adding a graphic edge to the classic design.
This design adorned a range of styles, including the Shopper Tote, Nil, Speedy Bandoulière, Keepall with Pockets, Christopher Backpack, and trunks, and became a defining element of the collaboration.
Another variation appeared on plain brown wool Speedy Bandoulière bags, showcased in two different sizes. These designs boast a black embroidered graphic of Pharrell and NIGO’s profiles, accompanied by the text ‘Louis Vuitton, Men, Fall/Winter 2025.’
A Homage to LV²
NIGO’s influence is evident in the collection’s denim lineup, which includes bags featuring patchwork and NIGO’s iconic drippy wave motif. First seen in the Louis Vuitton x NIGO 2020 collection, where it was crafted from a mix of Damier and Monogram canvas, the motif now is reimagined in pale blue and indigo denim. Some panels feature Monogram accents, while others are left untouched, and all bags are finished with navy leather handles and details. This denim design was featured on the Christopher Backpack, Speedy Bandoulière, and Nil bag, blending these classic silhouettes with NIGO’s touch.
The collection also included Damier and Monogram canvas, featured on pieces such as the Nil, Keepall Bandoulière 25, Soft Trunk, and Shopper Tote, a subtle reference linking the collection to Virgil Abloh’s time at the Maison.
Speedy P9 Bandoulière
No Pharrell x Louis Vuitton fashion show would be complete without the iconic Speedy P9 Bandoulière. This season, the bag returns in familiar colors from previous collections, reworked with slight variations in tone — pale pink, dark navy, light yellow, and khaki green. While similar to the original design, this iteration appears to have darker Vachetta leather providing an aged appearance.

The standout piece, however, is the striking metallic gold edition, which not only makes a statement but could also be seen as an homage to the gold-clad days of Billionaire Boys Club.
The Silk Satin Speedy
Reminiscent of satin tracksuits, the Speedy receives a silky pink makeover. The entire bag is crafted from smooth silk satin, featuring an embroidered Louis Vuitton Monogram along with intricate Japanese-inspired motifs, while dark brown leather handles and detailing complete the look.
Pharrell’s Golden Nano Speedy
Pharrell is known for infusing ultra-luxe elements into Louis Vuitton’s runway shows. In the past, we’ve seen standout pieces like the ‘Millionaire’ Speedy, and for the Men’s Fall-Winter 2025 collection, the spotlight is on the gold Nano Speedy. Rumored to be crafted from 24K gold, this petite bag is made of delicate chainmail and paired with matching metallic gold-tone leather accents. Adding to its jewelry-like look is a diamond-encrusted padlock, and chunky chain embellished with gemstones, completing the extravagant design.

Exotic Speedy Bandoulières
Exotic skins once again played a prominent role in Pharrell’s latest Louis Vuitton collection. Standout pieces included Speedy Bandoulières crafted in matte and shiny crocodile, as well as ostrich leather. Showcased in various sizes and colorways – such as pale pink, red, and black – some featured additional pocket detailing for a utilitarian twist, while others retained their classic simplicity.
Not to be left out from the exotic treatment, the Shopper Tote, Steamer, and Handle Soft Trunk were reimagined in Monogram-printed crocodile.
Workwear-Inspired Speedy Bandoulières
Staying on the theme of exotics, the show introduced a range of Speedy Bandoulière designs in ostrich leather and a usual croc denim design – which is yet to be confirmed. These iterations featured patch pockets reminiscent of those found on denim jeans, blending functionality with luxury.
Statement Speedys: Studs, Patches, and Bold Details
The expansive Speedy Bandoulière lineup continues to grow with new design options. This latest collection takes a bold approach, featuring studded accents, patches, and other eye-catching embellishments.
One notable piece is the classic black-on-black Monogram leather Speedy P9 Bandoulière. It stands out with striking details, including the words “Since 1854” printed in white on one end of the bag, a nod to Louis Vuitton’s founding year. On one side, the bag features a “Louis Vuitton Paris” graphic, enhanced with studded accents. The opposite side showcases a trunk illustration, also embellished for added flair. Completing the design is a chunky black chain for a contemporary edge.
For those seeking a bigger statement, another design in the collection takes boldness to the next level. Crafted from smooth black leather, this design is adorned with a mix of brightly colored patches and pin badges in various shapes and sizes. Reminiscent of travel stickers and patches often seen on luggage, it pays homage to Louis Vuitton’s rich travel heritage. Meanwhile, a diagonal zip pocket on the exterior adds a practical yet contemporary detail.
Shopper Tote
The ultra-luxe leather Louis Vuitton Shopper Tote returns — a design Pharrell has revisited season after season since debuting it in his first collection. This time, it’s reimagined with fresh colorways, textures, and sizes, including a PM iteration, and a petite mini bag charm edition styled on a belt loop.
Classic leather styles appeared in classic LV Imperial Saffron with blue, light pink with khaki green, and khaki green with brown. In addition to the leather styles, the croc and denim hybrid design features in the Shopping Tote lineup.

Dustbag, But Make It Fashion
Is it a bag, or is it a dustbag? Pharrell and NIGO continue their playful approach to Louis Vuitton bag icons, transforming the familiar cream cotton dust bag with blue drawstring handles into a supersized, slouchy leather bag. Despite featuring long leather shoulder straps, this design was styled casually under the arms of models. On the runway, the dustbag bag debuted in the classic cream colorway and a dark green suede iteration.
Graffiti Print
Taking cues from the iconic Stephen Sprouse x Marc Jacobs collection of 2001, Pharrell and NIGO introduced graffiti-inspired designs to this season’s accessory lineup. The first, a white leather Shopper Tote, was adorned with repeated bold black graffiti text reading ‘Louis Vuitton Paris.’ The second design, a Speedy P9 Bandoulière, featured black-on-black Monogram leather with a striking overlay of white graffiti lettering.
Utilitarian-Inspired Bags
Function and utility were recurring themes in this bag lineup, blending practicality with redefined design. As with the exotic designs, patch pockets were added to classic designs, along with key fobs and leather loops. Crafted with beige Monogram embossed suede, any delicateness was tempered by contrasting dark leather accents. Reinforced leather corners and contrast stitching further enhance their utilitarian vibe.
Among the new lineup were a Keepall, the classic Steamer in a mini and large size, and Neverfull styles, alongside a hobo bag, reminiscent of Louis Vuitton’s iconic Slouchy Hobo. Alongside the beige offerings, was a collection of so black styles.
Crustacean Creations
Louis Vuitton’s catch of the day is crafted from a combination of Monogram canvas and aged-Vachetta leather, this zip-top bag comes complete with claws and legs. Thankfully, this lobster won’t pinch.
Lobsters appeared as a recurring motif in the collection’s bag charms. Styled on Christopher Backpacks and the Mini Keepall, these lobster-shaped charms were crafted from smooth leather, matching the bag’s construction and color.
Smooth Leather Lineup
Several bags in the collection featured smooth leather designs, free of Damier and Monogram prints. Notable pieces included the Mini Keepall and Christopher Backpack, crafted in a dark beige tone reminiscent of aged Vachetta leather. Adding a pop of color was a pale pink Christopher Backpack and a mint green clutch bag, echoing the iconic Toiletry Pouch.
For a less structured look, other all-leather bags featured a slightly crinkled finish in jet black. These included the Soft Trunk, Christopher Backpack, Nil, Keepall, and hobo style, each in black with gold-tone hardware.
Trunks
True to Louis Vuitton tradition, trunks were a focal point of the collection. This season, large trunks took center stage and were wheeled down the runway on trolleys.
Notably, transparent and soft pink acrylic designs stood out, some featuring brightly colored, embedded flowers, including cherry blossoms. These pieces were a collaboration with renowned Japanese artist Azuma Makoto, whose signature floral arrangements added a botanical touch.
Pharrell’s Damoflage motif also made a return, reimagined in a subtle pastel pink on an oversized trunk. Another Damier-inspired design featured an embossed leather motif, showcased in both black and red.
Classic Monogram trunks were featured as well, including an impressive stack of record boxes, complete with the graphic Pharrell x NIGO motif.
Another more practical hard-sided luggage piece was the Rolling Trunk. Echoing the design of the matching Speedy Bandoulière, this striking trunk was carried by hand on the runway. Crafted from smooth black leather, the Rolling Trunk featured an array of brightly colored LV stickers that adorned its entire surface.
Hard-Sided Keepall & Montsouris
Even traditionally soft bags were given a structured makeover.
A standout Keepall from the collection converted the hallmark style into a trunk-inspired, hard-sided design. Constructed with origami-like folds, this Keepall was crafted entirely in Monogram canvas, including areas where Vachetta leather is traditionally used.
Another classic reimagined was the iconic Montsouris Messenger. Boasting the same curved silhouette, top handle, and shoulder strap, this Monogram canvas hard-sided Montsouris was elevated with a gold s-lock closure and rivet detailing for a heritage-inspired touch.
Mini Trunks
In addition to the large trunks, mini styles also made an appearance.
Variations of a classic handheld trunk graced the runway. The first, constructed in Damier Ebene, incorporated heritage details like reinforced metal corners and rivets. Yet, it took a contemporary turn with a zip-around pouch attached to its body, adding a utilitarian touch, and a lobster claw bag charm.
The smallest trunk in the collection featured a cube-like design in Damier Ebene. At first glance, this model may resemble the Mini Square Trunk Acanto currently available at Louis Vuitton, but differences are apparent. Where the Acanto boasts a leather top handle and shoulder strap, this petite boxy design has a refined short chain strap.
The final mini trunk, accompanying the final ensemble, was crafted in smooth pink leather. Featuring an elongated east-west design, this trunk featured was accessorized with a matching pink lobster bag charm.
